BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Shannon found her calling to be an artist since she was 11 years old. She started with traditional art for several years, then at age 16, she transitioned into digital art and has never looked back (except for school, of course).

Some of her biggest inspirations for animation would include Lauren Faust, Craig McCracken, Rebecca Sugar, etc. Her favorite shows growing up were The Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Adventure Time, Teen Titans, and more. It was actually around 2010 when her love vampires came through.

During High School, Shannon taught herself how to use Adobe Animate CC. Then, a few years later, she taught herself how to Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. One time, she had the honor of making an animated video for Adrive's Youtube channel.

"People are always saying that we need more BIPOC people in animation, especially those who are women. Well, I believe I fit that description perfectly. My goal is to create a show that queer and non-queer people can relate to. LGBTQIA+ people exist and they deserve to be heard". -Shannon Mowatt
